Nations Association, was founded by Rev. Israel Suarez in Southwest Florida in 1978. Over the years Nations mentored and reinforced positive lifestyles and values that allowed families and young people to take their place as productive members in our community. Through our mentorship, these families and young people learned life skills, and were taught personal responsibility and leadership. The young people that participated in our programs earned scholarships, volunteered in the community, and mentored those that came after them.
Over the years, thousands were able to benefit from our assistance and our programs.
In 1990 Nations Association was recognized with the Point of Light designation
by President George H.W. Bush.
